There were two posts recently that I have seen which mentioned inexpensive or free resources. One was KidSmart: Tools for Learning with this link, but there isn't anything available in Texas.

I posted about Scholastic Warehouse Sales where there are "markdowns on hundred of great books, software, school supplies, and more. Save 50%-80% off on last season's bestsellers, chapter books, beginning readers, and educational activities. The warehouses only open up at certain times during the year. I did the research for you. There
are scholastic warehouses in Arlington, Edinburg, El Paso, Houston, Lubbock, San Antonio, Waco, Corpus Christi, and Kilgore. Sometimes Decatur also hosts remote events.
