Clip to ScrapBook
I did not enjoy working at Sylvan. The pay was 12$ an hour and I was always having to stay and organize kids' folders for the next time someone had that kid. It bothered me that I didn't usually have the same kids. I would have a high school algebra kid mixed in with a kid who was in first grade and behind in reading. Another time I had a kid who needed math help mixed together with one who needed writing skills. It was chaotic and not fun at all. The individualized plans were good though. It is good for the extra money, but I woudln't recommend it. I would do private tutoring because you can do what you want to teach the child and make your own hours. Just my opinion though.
