Principals
By linda2671

Clip to ScrapBook
I had one principal for 13 years at the school I'm at now. He truly cared about the kids and the teachers. He gave 150% all the time. He always told us that our families came first, no matter what. After that, he always looked
at what was best for the kids. He retired last year, and our assistant principal took over. She has the same views about family, and our school is like a big family where everyone takes care of each other. She pops into the classroom as often as she can, but she doesn't micromanage. She's very positive, and makes sure teachers know when there is a problem, and gives them help if they
need it. When our PE teacher was called into active duty with the Army Reserves, she went to his house and helped his pregnant wife take care of their house. And this summer, when I had surgery, she paid a cleaning crew to come clean my house as her gift to me. I know that's going way beyond the call of duty. It would be hard for anyone to live up to that. We've been very fortunate.
