Daily Five
By kacie8

Clip to ScrapBook
I just attended a workshop this past week with the 2 sisters who wrote The Daily Five. I teach 3rd grade and it just didn't really seem like it would work for my students because of scheduling and other programs we are doing such as The Comprehensin Toolkit (by Anne Goudavis-whom I also had a workshop with). That is just my opinion. I am going to read some of Debbie Diller's books and implement some of her suggestions. She suggests using stations, instead of centers. I spent a day listening to her also at a conference and I really liked her ideas so I am going to read her book and try some of her ideas at the beginning of the year. I just finished attending the Mid-South Reading and Writing Conference in Alabama and it was really good.
