I went through the University of St Mary which is a traditional college. They offer an online master's program in curriculum and instruction. It was very good for me because I have a handicapped daughter, and it's hard for me to be gone in the evenings. I did spend a lot of time writing papers, but everything pertained to my classroom. I can honestly say that I still use everything I learned. Good luck! I hope you find just the right program for you.
