Leanig towards no rewards

After teaching for 5 years, and trying probably a dozen different reward/consquence systems (turn your card, tickets, tokens, points, etc,), I am leaning towards doing away with "regular" rewards. The same behaved kids always get the rewards, and the same misbehaving kids never do. I agree that the once-in-a-blue-moon rewards can be used, but 'regular' rewards just don't cut it for me any more. I am hoping to make my classroom more friendly and build a trusting community.
