HOMEWORK
By JR

Clip to ScrapBook
When I give homework I grade it and put the grade in the subject. Those that don't complete the homework lose recess or library time and must complete the homework that I grade. I don't grade all homework sometimes I just
check it and I put a big check mark on it if it is done correctly and then the children can get a ticket which is used for a daily drawing. I have also used homework cards where I punched out holes around the card. If a child didn't bring in the homework I marked out that punch and dated it. It was great documentation for parents when report cards came out. I had 22 punch marks when
they had successfully completed 11 punches with no cross outs I gave them a grab bag ticket. When they successfully completed all 22 punches then they got a no homework pass.
