dos and don'ts

Clip to ScrapBook
Don't give a folder or binder of copied articles, etc. Most teachers I know don't have room for one more of these to gather dust. Do give lists of websites for ideas/student use. Do have them leave with things that are ready-to-use and practical for their particular teaching situation. I'd also have a troubleshooting session. Ask people to think about what the challenges or problems they might/do encounter are. Use the group to come up with lots of ways to address these. I've been to lots of workshops where they give you ideas, but the real stumbling blocks come with implementation. Good luck with your training! Three days is a lot of time to fill!
