no choice, paid ONLY by direct deposit (no checks are issued) on the 15, or the Friday before if it falls on a weekend. Those who use the same bank as the school district, which I just happen to do (they offered us free banking YEARS ago when I moved here if we were district employees), can access their money at midnight on the 14th. I've had teachers from other banks tell me it sometimes doesn't credit their accounts until after noon on the 15th.
