Awesome Multiplication Incentive

Please see attachment. Our 4th grade team does an ice cream party. They have to learn their 2 facts to earn a bowl, 3s napkin, etc. They must learn them in order and we make it quite clear that if they choose not to participate or complete enough to earn ice cream they will sit there during the party with only a bowl and spoon. Every student in my class learned their facts and wanted to. For the ones that struggled, I worked with them to help them to help them develop a technique. Even my special education students that I was told would never accomplish this proved their educator wrong... the differneces in grades and recall of facts was amazing... hope i explained that well, let me know if you have any more questions.
