We get paid on the 27th or the business day closest to the 27th. The exceptions are November and December when we get paid the last school day before both holidays. It makes for 6 weeks between checks in January. We don't have a choice about the schedule but when you are hired, you may opt for an extra check the first of September by dividing your base by 13 rather than 12.
