Ron Clark

I will get the chance to hear him speak this fall, so I'm really excited. I've read the book and watched the movie. I agree with the other posters who said to use what works for you. In an interview I read, Ron Clark was amazed and amused that another teacher did all the rules including the Doritoes (sp?) rule. I think I will use some of the rules (condensed and reworded somewhat) as the Essential Expectations for my room. I only have 3 rules (they all have to do with respect) so the rest to me seems like procedures or expectations. I don't know; we'll see what happens. Good luck! :s)
