I tried it
By PopcornNhugs

Clip to ScrapBook
I tried reading response journals this year with my guided reading groups. It started off okay, but it was more of a hassle than anything else. Instead of writing responses in a journal, I gave the students post-it notes to write their ideas, questions, predictions, etc. on. That seemed to work better b/c they are colorful and stick to the pages they are reading.
