    but were afraid to ask. That's what we called ours when we finally put one together for new staff. We included things like a school map, where to go for certain materials, who to contact for supplies (librarian, computer, office, etc.), how to use the copy machine, how to fill out district forms (discipline, request for leave, etc.), usernames and passwords for school computers and research databases for students (all teachers have an individual username and password; but students use a universal login that only allows them access to certain areas on the intranet). The way we put it together - a bunch of us who'd been there for a five or six years started thinking about all the stuff that we'd not known over the past few years that would have been helpful. Then we all met at someone's house and started sharing the stuff we'd come up with. We made a list of everything we could think of... and then one person took it all and put it into a booklet form. That was about ten years ago... last I knew that campus was STILL using our book... and it was the model for the book the intermediate school put together last year. Granted there have been changes - but it's basically the same book we put together that morning. :)
