Word wALLS

I'm going to try using word walls this year, but I'm not using phonics because I think third graders should know the letter sounds by know. I'm going to Have a language arts wall that has all the grammar terms that we use and the reading vocabulary for the week. I'm also going to have a math word wall with a pocket for retired words. I'm going to have the students response by using the words or write responses by using the words. Even though words have been retired they can still be used. I'm also going to use one for social studies.Loren
