I am still reading and planning for my first week of school. It is fast approaching (21st of August).
I am still on the community theme with alot of discussion on character. Such as citizenship etc. and how that contributes to a positive atmosphere.
And the correlation to a good citizenship in the classroom and the community.
I thought that the first day we would do some getting to know you activites. Then talk about our rules at school. And how rules like laws are to keep us safe.
I am looking for some good books for this. Any ideas? On citizenship, responsibility, fairness etc.
