communities

I hade the same idea about starting the year out with a unit about commnunites. I am going to use Roxaboxen and discuss attributes of communities and connect it to the community which we live (McKinney, Texas). Each group will build a community from Trash Treasure they bring from home, much like in the book. I will incorporate maping skills as well.If you come up with anything else please let me know!
