Biggest successes are the ones we get from our local science center. Interesting material and they know how to work with kids. Breaking them down by primary and intermediate helps. Student performed plays - we're still considered a neighborhood school so lots of siblings to watch and they're usually not too long. The ones where awards are being passed out seem to be receiving poor manners from the audience!?!?!? Now the part I really hate. Teachers that bring work and pay not a bit of attention to their wild charges. (I'm usually sitting closest to them and have to deal with it. ) I bring work to check but my kids know I have an eye on them and will move them in a second. ;)
