Wow! I am right there with you! I have an interview this afternoon for a Title One Reading position (gr 3-5) and was doing a little web surfing to help me prepare some good questions to ask the principal. She told me that the job is mine if I want it, so now I have to make sure it is a good fit. I found a lot of good info on the boards and archives here. There seems to be so much (mostly) good info on the web. The real problem is sorting out what is suitable for ourselves. At the school where I'm going today, the former Title One Teacher had been there for many years and used up disability & sick days since October--she never came back. After school was out she mailed in a retirement request. Soooooo, this will be like starting fresh. Also, the school staff has turned her resource room into a storage room, so if I take the job I'll have to convince them to find other locations for their junk! Good luck to you! I'll be sure to post the results of my interview on the Title 1 message board today, if anyone is interested. I'll probably come home with a lot more questions!
