Lining up

Great ideas! Just as some side-notes: 1)You may consider "hallway monitors" which are incorporated to monitor hallway NOISE. My students are not permitted to talk in the hallway out of respect for other teachers and other students trying to learn...self-discipline is also the underlying lesson learned! 2)Have the students wash their hands before lunch. I fortunately have a sink in my room which is very convenient. I line them up at the sink before lunch according to the "quietest" group. Parents really appreciate the fact that their children have clean hands prior to eating.
