1. Reading professional books. I have read about four so far this summer. (I've been off for a month now.) 2. Reading some chapter books that I will use for lit circles. 3. Setting up a new reading schedule. 4. Creating centers. 5. Finish leveling my library (about 500 books to go). 6. I have an Activeboard wksp in Aug. After that, I will spend the remainder of the summer creating flipcharts and figuring out how to use it. (Hopefully, I'll have it before school starts!:)) 7. Organize my materials. I have collected a lot of resources in the past 4 years and I need to figure out what I have so that when I plan I actually include some of them! 8. Surfing Ebay for great deals on books. 9. Surfing the web looking for great ideas. Thar's all I can think of so far. I'm rather "school obessesed" this summer.
