Accuracy Rate.
By Tom

Clip to ScrapBook
Sure. Accuracy rate is just the ratio of the number of errors in a passage to the total number of words in the passage. If a student makes three errors while reading a passage with sixty words the accuracy rate would be 3:60 (or, reduced, 1:20) A higher accuracy would be 1:40 and a lower accuracy would be 1:10. Hope this helps. Tom.
PS: don't forget every deviation is not considered an error. For example, self-corrections and repeating a word are not considered errors.
