I teach 5th by the way. I have to spend 105 minutes on reading. The principal is requiring it. I can use social studies and science material to teach reading, and I plan to once we get going.
I have 60 minutes daily for math.
I have 15 minutes for spelling every day though I usually only do spelling 3 days a week.
I have 30 minutes a day for language arts and writing right after spelling. More time is spent on writing for the first 3/4 of the year because of state testing. After state testing I work hard on grammar so they are ready for the next year.

a day four days a week on social studies and science combined. I may( I haven't decided yet) do units where for two weeks I do science and then for two weeks I do social studies. This might make it easier and we could delve into one subject at a time.
