game
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
Do the "Remember Names" Game. Students get in a circle (and you do too). Start with the person on your left. Have them say their name. The next person says the previous person's name and then their own. The third person
says all previous names before them and then their own. Continue until you get back to yourself. You have the hardest task. You have to remember everyone's name.
The next day, do the game again but start to your right. My kids love this.
On the first day, I bring about ten items that are meaningful to me in a bag to share with the class (a picture of my family and dog, my
favorite magazine, a cookbook because I like to cook, etc.). Share this with the class. Then for "homework" give them a brown paper lunch bag and tell them to put 5 (and only 5) items of things that would represent themselves. All items MUST fit in the bag! Have share time.
