Clip to ScrapBook
I used to use a pocket chart that had all their names in it. Everyone starts with a yellow card (cut construction paper) behind their name. If they misbehave, they change their card to red, which is a warning. If they misbehave again, they change their card to black, which means a punishment - put vocab in sentences, basically extra homework. Everyone who keeps a yellow card all day puts a sticker on their mini chart and when this is full, they get a small prize - pencil, eraser. I like it because the act of going and changing their cards gets through to them and it eliminates the whole lecture thing. hope this helps.
