I just had my last day at a school where I have been teaching for 20+ years. I'm moving out of state to be closer to family and may or may not go back to teaching. I couldn't even begin to face starting to pack today, so I'll be going back over the next few days (you can imagine how much stuff I have after 20 years:rolleyes:) I'm hoping it will be easier to ease out, saying good-bye to a few people at a time. It was hard to say good-bye to the children, especially the ones who were expecting me to be their teacher next year and were saying "but why are you leaving?" It's going to be a very strange feeling for awhile.
