The director of education contacted me last week and asked which of two positions I'd prefer. I told him and he said "I'll put you down for that. Please
So my question is, who should I contact and when? It has been over a week, and I just turned down a third round interview at another school. I really want to make sure things are set! My options are: 1. Director of education - This seems most appropriate to me, but the comments about him being too high for me to contact scare me. It could also potentially make personnel look bad. 2. Personnel - I could just say that I know he was going to be calling me, but that I have an updated transcript and should I drop it off. My fear is that I could be "crossing" the director, by contacting the HR person instead of the opposite 3. The principal at the school - I could just casually ask if he has received any updates. 4. Do nothing - and wait. If you think this is the best option. How long would you wait? Thanks for any advice you have!
