bookstands
By KT

Clip to ScrapBook
If your district has an Ellison die cut machine, they may have the bookstand die cutwhich uses heavy tagboard. Years ago I made book stands out of a bent wire hangar. Check yardsales for "plate" holders used to display china. I have one row of rain gutter under my chalkboard that works great! It holds lots of books, is cheap, shows the cover of each book, and books can be easily changed to go with themes or seasons. Very accessible to the kids. Also, skirt hangars work very well to display big books..they can hang from doorknobs or the chalktray. Whatever works!
