This is my first year in grade three after a long time in resource. I am trying to develop a jungle/rainforest theme for the year. I will be stringing up twisty paper to make vines, and I will be making large leaves for the wall, etc. I am going to use all jungle notepads, for their nametags, learning centres etc. I have a little room for a reading area and I going to section it off with vines and a mosquito net. I have rainforest monkeys, stuffed snakes, etc and will be hanging them in my reading area. The grade two teacher is having a space theme and she is getting a large sun, moon, and star pinata for her room. I have also heard of some classes doing a Roald Dahl theme and I think that would be great. I may try it next year. Angela
