It sounds like you're very excited about student teaching this fall! You will love the third grade. There is so much that you can do with the kids! I am hosting a student teacher this fall. I hope that she will have similar interest and enthusiasm! I wish you lots of luck! My advice for student teaching: work hard, have fun, make yourself very visible with the staff, and take photographs of all your bulletin boards, activities, games, pictures of you teaching and/or working with children, etc.(if you are able to).
