colonial history
By Amanda

Clip to ScrapBook
Last year during our yearlong study of SC history, we finished with a colonial days finale. All of the third grade teachers got together and split up jobs colonists and Native Americans had. Then, we set up tables in classrooms and in the hallway. During a two hour period, the other grades were able to walk up and down the hall and see our crafts, etc. (We got the go ahead from the principal). It was a great success and gave the kids a real reason to learn about history since they were teaching the other grades. If you are interested, I can give more detailed information. Amanda
