Childless, Spouseless, and "Successful" By simpsongirl

Even though most of you would consider me young to the teaching profession--7th year credentialed/5th year teaching--I feel that I've been the best teacher that God has helped me to be. As far as being successful--by whose standards should I judge myself with?
As many of the posters mentioned, having children does not necessarily determine the marks of being an accomplished teacher. So many other factors are involved... However, I must agree that being a parent-teacher is certainly a status to be admired.
