using leave
By tia

Clip to ScrapBook
i agree with the last poster about using your school as reference--it would look bad--wouldn't you also have to leave plans for a sub? good grief, i'd rather work than make plans for a sub!

are you done with testing
yet? i'd never leave testing in the hands of a sub--even if i weren't coming back.

do you have any doctor appointments lined up? i use my sick leave when i have those. also, i (very rarely, because there is always something too big for me too leave with a sub or it's too much work) sometimes take a "sick" day when i need a mental wellness day--we have to be spiritually well
to do a good job teaching! perhaps just take a day off each week to make you feel better about "losing" those days.

in my district, when you retire, your sick days can transfer into payment for insurance; find out what will happen with those days. (i know that you're not retiring, but will you return to same district?)
