Any teacher from Houston, Tx?

Just wanted to ask how it's going with the TAKS test issue. I sort of heard on the news that the school board was trying to get rid of the TAKS test in their district so teachers can go back to REALLY teaching and students can go back to REALLY learning. Kudos to ya'll!
