I went out and bought my own

I ended up purchasing my own Mountain Language and Mountain Math programs a few years ago. I start using them about mid-year after I've covered most of the material. Getting everything organized and set up is probably the most time consuming. I use a pocket chart, so I put in about 4 strips at a time which I can flip over or trade out as the cards are used.

What's good about it, for me, is that I can determine how many items I want them to answer per day. We do this first thing in the morning, which allows me time to collect papers, permission slips or resolve any other issues. Initially, I start with a few items per day. Right now, we are doing about 10 questions each morning, but I have many students who could do the entire page if I let them. :)
