There was a popular song years ago. We are the world we are the children. I know you can find the lyrics on line. Put the lyrics in the center and let the students draw an mural around it. Or have the topic we are the world and let them draw pics of them selves holding hands with a friend. There you have art, social living, reading, and possibly music all in one theme. If you ever hear the song it is hard to get out of your head. I have had some hearing impaired students sign it also. I like BB that sure a purpose and is studnet related yet quick
