Our recess and lunch aren't at the same time either. Our lunch is at 11:25, and our recess is at 1:40. I love it this way! The kids have time to let their food settle.

I wouldn't mind having the recess before lunch either - I just don't want it immediately following lunch. It's TOO hot in our area - we'd have many upset tummies.

I don't know of any cons. We always use Germ-X before lunch - we don't have time for everyone to wash their hands with soap and water (and our soap dispensers rarely work right).
