we receive a sample to use from the college
1. your position and a description of the classroom, school and community
2. your opinion of the st repoir with yourself, parents and staff
3. behavior management skills
4. background knowledge strengths and weaknesses
5. example of one or two strong lessons presented (we also make a cd to include)
6. Official recommendation - I would or would not recommend hiring this person in our school system.
7. My name and way to reach me for interview
8. I use our school letterhead

I give a copy to the student teacher we discuss the letter for items they would like me to add or give reasons why we should delete something first. Final copy is in her file and in mine for further use.
