Sub Nightmares

It isnt always better to have a sub coordinator. Ours sent a sub to my room on a day that I was present and did not send one on a separate day that I was in. She told our principal that I never called her. Fortunately
she has messed up several times in the past and my annal personality had him certain that I would never forget to call for a sub. Plus we are told just leave a message on her machine at home and she never returns a call to let you know she received the message. She is a nasty woman and screams at you if you request a sub even if you KNOW she is available because you spoke to her in the

building that day. You would think they would WANT to call the subs who are good at what they do. Isn't that a reward for being good. Now I call and leave a message at our building with the time saying that I just hung up from calling her for a sub. We have had teacher training days when the district was short 15 subs. Every assistant in the district was covering a different classroom and the kids were crazy.
