    Yes, the teacher is ultimately responsible. BUT, she needs to retain that she would not have shown the movie on her own, and needs to discuss it with the assistant. Oh No! didn't physically pick this movie and it is most likely she would not have on her sole decision.

    I wouldn't want a reputation starting about me that I show and condone these kinds of movies in the classroom if I don't.

    IMHO, I don't think many movies should be shown at school anyway. Here's the only things I've let my kids see (public school, too): a "non-religious" veggie tales for fun, the first Little House on the Prairie: A Harvest of Friends, various Reading Rainbows, curriculum related documentary type shows. Some years I can count on one hand the amount of videos my kids have seen-around the holidays or special occasions mostly. Beyond that I just try and stay away from it.
