From a recent education student
By Tchrsbell

Clip to ScrapBook
In one of my education classes we were told that we should document EVERYTHING! They also told us to keep records about students who had behavior or academic problems, as well as any parental problems. This was to cover ourselves if anyone wanted information or tried to accuse the teacher of something. They also said to keep any records that would pertain to a child abuse case you reported. You never know when you'll have to testify in that sort of case. THIS SCARED ME TO DEATH! I remember thinking..."who in the world has time to document everything and then save it all??"

I do see a problem with those that teach numerous students each year. WHere in the world would you keep such records??
