I have used music to help get my students to memorize the facts. School House Rock has an excellent video and I have used it as a springboard to have my students write and perform their own songs on the tables.The game "Buzz" is also an excellent way for the students to start counting by a particular number. I have also had them recite the number sentence when we play: 6x4=....you can definitely come up with variations that suit your class!
