Make a Pictionary
By Rebecca

Clip to ScrapBook
My students make a Pictionary. I have done this in Science/S. Studies, Spelling and Reading. Each student gets a blank white piece of paper. They write the vocabulary word, definition, a sentence with the word and draw (color) a picture of the word. We compile their pages throughout the year to make their very own Pictionary. I will then go back and ask questions about particular vocabulary and they look it up in their Pictionary. OR you could make a class Pictionary...However you choose, my third graders love it! I think it would work for your second graders too. Good Luck!
