an idea

Clip to ScrapBook
I dont know that I have any wonderful ideas but one thing I make sure is that the vocab is implemented in their reading and most importantly their writing...
that is why they need to know it right...
I challenge my
kids to learn new words and use them in their pieces of writing...
I put up charts of more exciting ways to say the common words like happy, good, fine...
I also discuss using your senses...
if writing about a setting..what did it look like sound like feel like...
I make them close their eyes and picture it...
I guess my point is that my kids went from using good to magnificent
and suddenly instead of then..
but only bc I constantly reinforce how "exciting and interesting it is to read a story or piece of writing that uses this vocabulary..."
Is that what you mean...
SOrry if I am off track...what words are you currently focusing on??
Vocab is always hard...
write back..good luck/..
