We compared folktales as that is what is on our STAR test in the spring. We compared characters, settings and plot using Nine-in One-Gr, Gr! (from Laos) and Llama and the Flood (from Peru).
They are both in an older series we used called Spotlight. We did this after we read TYhe Great Ball Game in HM.
