It's good to hear that things are shaping up. I'm really glad that your principal is making himself so visible. That probably gives the kid a sense of "I'd better not do that because the principal could come in". At least I would hope so. I've never heard of a district not testing because of attendance problems. I guess you're on your own for that. Anyway, good luck. If you are in a school with a traditional school year, you've only got about 75 days to go.
