Outside of the moms obsession with her sons bladder control I do not get any vibes he is being abused and he is not the only child in my class that still gets spanked. I just think she is really strict and puts a high priority on his schooling and manners.
Her son seems over all happy and healthy (when he is not bursting to pee). The only issue I have had with him is he sometimes talks we he shouldn't be. I have discussed all of this with the principal and she told me not to go out of my way to meet the mother expectations. I do not make him clean his tray, but I have reminded him to eat his lunch. And I would never deny him a restroom break if he ask! As for the posture I have not seen any issues with it and would correct some of my other students first! I have done what she asked with the test papers and there was only one time he did not return it. I should note that all of these things were not asked by her at the same time, but over the course on this year talking to her.
