DOL is a program you can buy....here's how it works You put two sentences on the chalkboard like this: i aint gonna go to the store me and bob runned up the hill last night I have my kids copy the sentences down correctly, in a pre-made DOL notebook, making all necessary corrections. Later that day or the next morning we all correct them together on the board. I use the editing marks that the upper grades use so my students will be familiar with using editing when they get to 4th grade.
