Clip to ScrapBook
I am not sure if this is the type of thing you are looking for, but right off the top of my head:

1. Before reading - Have students fold a sheet of drawing paper in half. One one side let them draw a picture (perhaps
a park scene or something other type of scenery) using only one color. After reading - Have students draw the same scenery using many colors. Discuss how the picture changes and how it is better and ore interesting just as the book suggests.

OOPS! :o I misread. I thought you wanted activities to go with the book. I should read more carefully. If you could be more clear that
would be great. Other than read aloud I am not sure how else you might do it. Could this book be made into a reader's theatre where several students played the role of the crayons?
