Spelling baseball. Divide your class into two teams. One team is up while the others are in the outfield listening! I say a word to one child. He/she spells the word and if correct goes to first base (I set up chairs for the bases) or you could go outside. If the child makes an error they come to the "dugout" and writes the word 5x before they can come back into line. This is also one out. When a person makes it home he/she scores a point for their team. After 3 outs the next team is up. The neat thing is if you have children with different lists, the child can be "pitched" their own words. The other team should be good listeners as they will hear the words again.
